USGI Cold Weather Helmet Liner, a classic piece of American gear seeing its origins from the needs of soldiers fighting during WW2 and Korea.
The Helmet liner can be worn with/without an helmet/hat, and acts as an insulator during those cold fall and winter months. The cotton and Nylon fleece lining keeps you warm on even the coldest days, when not in use the ear flaps can be tied up to the top or back of the hood almost like a Eastern Ushanka.
Liners come in M81 Woodland and OD Green, Ranging in age from the 1970s to Early 2000s. This piece of kit will add that little extra comfort and accuracy to your USGI kits of the 50s-90s.
