USGI M1938 Canvas Leggings (Gaiters)

USGI Canvas Gaiters Or Leggings, Used extensively during WW2 And Korean these nifty pieces of canvas were designed to keep your pant bottoms and boot tops together and dirt free.

Many accounts state how much troops hated these and the post Korean war uniform changes reflect such. Developed as a slightly easier to put on Putty, they definitely show off there WW1 roots where Trench Warfare was still the main concern of Generals and army's post WW1 and into early WW2.
