The M1945 Sleeping Bag Cover was issued to troops with their sleeping bags from late 1945 to the mid 70s, Commonly seen in Vietnam these Covers will keep you some what dry from inclement and wet weather.
The covers can be used by themselves when needed to give you some protection from the elements when rolling out your whole bag would be to much. I've Personally done this while camping in the swamps of North Carolina when it was to hot for my bag but to cold for just a blanket.
Covers are in decent condition expect dirty spots or faded tags.
