The East German Peaked Caps are hybridization of Soviet and German hat designs Originating from the 1800s.
Each hat comes with branch specific piping and color and branch / Occupation specific badging. We leave the original news paper peak stuffing in, soldiers did this to keep the peak nice and crisp like how many sailors and marines use cardboard slates to keep their caps nice .
