The bigger brother of the 1 Qt Canteen we all grown to love, this 2 Qt canteen was created to 1 allow soldiers to carrier more water in a some what similar sized container and 2 to reduce the noise created from sloshing water in drunken canteens.
Our 2 Qt canteens are used like most of our 1 qt and we recommend a washout with warm water and soap before use.
